This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of Breaking Bad, hands down one of the greatest dramas of all time.

It’s a time to celebrate the birth of our friend Walt, Walter White that is, the harmless chemistry teacher turned chilling drug lord just doing what he can to secure his family’s future.

Starring Bryan Cranston as Walter and Aaron Paul as his apprentice Jesse Pinkman, Breaking Bad ran from 2008 until 2013, claiming two Outstanding Drama Series Emmys and a Golden Globe for Best Television Series Drama.

Cranston claimed four Lead Actor Emmys for his portrayal of Walter, while Paul took home three Supporting Actor Emmys as Jesse. Anna Gunn, who played Walt’s wife, Skyler, also scored a pair of Supporting Actress Emmys.

The Breaking Bad universe, of course, permeates spin-off Lightbox show Better Call Saul, which features slippery lawyer Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and fixer Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks). The prequel, which debuted in 2015, will launch its fourth season in 2018 exclusively on Lightbox.
