Foo Fighters album 'Concrete and Gold' will feature "surprise" guests

The Foo Fighters are set to release their brand new album Concrete and Gold on September 15 this year.Â
According to an interview Dave Grohl had with the BBC, Concrete and Gold will feature "a bunch of guests", including some that will "really surprise you".Â
One artist we do know who is going to feature on the album is Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman. Pretty weird right?
In the same interview, Grohl revealed how the unexpected collaboration came about. Apparently, the band had set out to record a "weird record," so when they saw Stockman walking through the parking lot of their recording studio, Grohl invited him to sing on a track.Â
Shawn sings on the "heaviest song on the entire record." Grohl then went on to describe the sound of it. "It sounds like Sabbath and Pink Floyd. It’s heavy. It’s the last song on the record," Grohl added. "He built a choir – it’s like 40 vocals stacked. It’s insane."
