Since the Arctic Monkeys debut album 'Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not in 2006 they have released four more albums, with 'AM' being their last. After their tour in 2014 the band announced their hiatus and stayed on hiatus until mid 2016.

In December 2016, Alex Turner confirmed to BBC Sheffield that the band's hiatus had ended and work had begun on a new Arctic Monkeys studio album. 5 months later and it seems that they are well into recording their sixth studio album!

Matt Helders has just posted a photo on Instagram and has fans all around the world going crazy.

Photographer Daniele Cavalli also posted a photo on Instagram of Alex playing the piano, which happens to be the same piano as the one in Alex's photo...

Let's hope we hear some new music from the Monkeys soon!
