It's thought both the All Blacks and betting syndicates have been ruled out of Police investigations over the bugging-scandal.

The Daily Telegraph reports the listening device found in a chair on the eve of the Bledisloe Cup test in the All Blacks hotel in Sydney was live at the time of its discovery.

Australian coach Michael Cheika is upset at the accusations some have made that the Wallabies were behind the planting of the device.

Cheika recently revealed Police officers turned up to Australian Rugby Union's headquarters and questioned management.
