The All Blacks have performed a clean sweep at the World Rugby awards, winning the player, coach and team of the year awards.

Beauden Barrett has been named player of the year, an award a New Zealand player has now won for five straight years. It caps off a fine year for the All Blacks first five-eighth who has stepped into the coveted 10 jersey with ease after playing a bench role previously for the side.

The All Blacks won team of the year award for the seventh straight year. The All Blacks were up against England and the Fiji sevens side. It is the tenth time the All Blacks have claimed the best team award since the awards began in 2001.

Coach Steve Hansen has also won the coach of the year gong for the fourth time.
