Hawkes Bay have shown Counties Manukau last year's Ranfurly Shield win wasn't a fluke.
The Magpies have put out a strong first half performance to thrash the home side 35-11.
The bonus point win sees Hawkes Bay sit atop the ITM Cup Championship, with Counties mid-table of the premiership.
