A Day In Loo 2025!

Every day, eight Kiwis are diagnosed with bowel cancer and 1 in 10 Kiwis diagnosed with bowel cancer are under the age of 50, so here at Radio Hauraki we're using our radio station to help spread awareness of symptoms by teaming up with Bowel Cancer NZ for DAY IN LOO 2025

A 12 hour nationwide broadcast dedicated to raising awareness of bowel cancer symptoms.   
This year we're doing something a little bit special, with a sporting theme, at Eden Park

On Wednesday June 18th the team from Radio Hauraki and the Alternative Commentary Collective will broadcast for 12-hours from the Bowels of Eden Park

That's right, we'll be down there in those iconic Eden Park changing sheds that have housed thousands of sporting legends over the years.  

Sporting legends will be joining us across the 12 hour broadcast... you could say, it's a bunch of Good Sports Talking Sh*t to raise awareness for Bowel Cancer NZ
