The Boondocks are a fresh, keen, two-piece rock act hailing from Auckland’s Āwhitu Peninsula, combining the vocal and bass talents of Scott Parker with the kit-crunching stamina of Branden Pritchard. Taking inspiration from grunge, punk, and modern rock, the duo deliver an energetic sound, with bouncy hard-rock riffs and catchy, memorable melodies. 

After bursting onto the Auckland music scene in July 2022, The Boondocks have rapidly risen to prominence as a band to watch within New Zealand rock.
