The Howl - Liam Finn

The Howl is the eighth single from Liam Finn’s forth coming album Hyper verse LP, set for digital release on June 20, 2025. This version of The Howl is a re imagined take on the song Liam originally wrote for Crowded House’s 2024 album Gravity Stairs. “The Howl is like speeding down the road through a perpetual blue dusk,” says Finn. “It’s about the Groundhog Day-like cycles we repeat in relationships, hoping for a different outcome. Isn’t that the definition of madness?”

Hyper verse is Finn’s most ambitious work to date—conceived, written, and recorded entirely via live stream. He performed every instrument, and also mixed and produced the album himself.
