'Die Hard' writer confirms that it is a Christmas movie

Once and for all the debate is over.

If you know someone, who for some reason believes that the 1988 classic is not a Christmas film, you'll enjoy throwing this news right in their face.

'Die Hard' writer Steven E. de Souza ended the debate by weighing on Twitter to a conversation of fans giving their take. Responding to a fan who had listed its festive components and asked “how could it not be a Christmas movie?”, de Souza added: “Plus a woman about to give birth features prominently."

He then added more in a follow-up tweet.
