Foo Fighters have just dropped a very on-brand joke video to hint that plenty more is on the horizon now that they’re back in action.
After returning to the stage with a couple of intimate shows to introduce new drummer Ilan Rubin, the rock icons unveiled a clip titled A Message From Foo Fighters. The teaser ends with a simple promise: “Stay tuned… there’s more to come!”
Before that, though, things get strange. The video opens with an uncanny AI version of Dave Grohl—complete with six fingers—announcing, “Hey everyone. It’s been a while but I’m happy to announce that Foo Fighters are coming back to bring you that 100 per cent real, raw, human element of rock’n’roll…”
The Foos’ schedule is already heating up: they’ll hit Jakarta on October 2, play Singapore’s F1 a few days later, and then head to Japan for two shows at Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena plus a stop at Osaka’s Glion Arena Kobe. November sees the band heading to Mexico for a pair of massive gigs.
