Linkin Park's New Album Tops the Charts in 10 Countries - Inc NZ!

Seven years after Chester Bennington's passing, Linkin Park began hinting at their return in late August. By early September, the band unveiled "The Emptiness Machine," announced their new album From Zero, and revealed plans for a few upcoming shows. This all coincided with an intimate performance in Los Angeles, where they introduced Armstrong as their new lead vocalist.

It was a lot to process at once, and fans were initially divided on the band's decision to move forward as Linkin Park.

And say what you will about the new album… but it’s successful!

From Zero has topped the charts in 10 different countries.

It claimed the No. 1 spot on album charts in the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia, and right here in New Zealand. 

The album also debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S.

Linkin Park also currently sit at 12 on the New Zealand charts with their ‘Best of’ album ‘Papercuts’ as well

Linkin Park’s frontman Mike Shinoda had this to say about the news "I don't know what our last No. 1 was, but it was a very long time ago. This is very cool. It's a big deal to all of us."
