Last month, Travis Barker confirmed that blink-182's releasing a new album this year, now he's dishing on the details — and they might be a little surprising to fans.

During a recent interview (via SPIN), the drummer revealed that the upcoming collection will feature Grimes and Pharrell.

“There’s a lot of cool stuff, like a song with Grimes right now that’s really, really cool that I love. There’s a song with Uzi that’s really, really cool that we did with Pharrell,” he said.

Though these artists don't fall into the rock category, Barker assured that the band is still very much making pop-punk music. “I mean, it’s not like blink’s making a rap song or anything. It’s like bringing Uzi over to our world," he said. "So it’s more of a punk kind of like reggae feeling song. And yeah, I mean, I don’t think blink will ever be anything but like a pop-punk band.”

Aside from these details, Barker also revealed that the new album is "60 percent" done.

Blink was expecting to put out new music last year, but over the summer Mark Hoppus gave fans an update, admitting there was a delay in the production. “Matt is going back into the studio with John today to work on new songs. I think we have a tracklisting, we still need to finish these songs [and] get them mixed. We’re a ways away still, but we are working on it,” he said at the time. “These songs are dope. You guys are in for some dope new blink-182 music in, hopefully, the nearest future.”

The new album will follow 2019's NINE.
