A man in New Zealand who has the COVID-19 virus apparently attended a Tool concert last Friday that was packed with thousands of other people.

The man, who is in his 30s, and his partner were both confirmed to have the disease this week. The couple recently arrived in New Zealand from northern Italy, where 200 people have now died from the disease.

Tool played two sold-out shows last week at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

The infected man was in the general admission standing area "in the front left-hand quadrant" of the arena, NZ ministry of health director Dr. Ashley Bloomfield reported at a news conference.

"We encourage people who were in the general admission standing area to be aware of symptoms of COVID-19," she added.

The man has been isolated at home since Wednesday. Bloomfield suggested the COVID-19 risk was low for others at the concert.

New Zealand has 4 cases of COVID-19 so far. Australia has 60 cases.
