TMZ reports Silva wants something by which to remember his marriage of less than two years. Silva, a musician himself, claims Frances Bean gave him her father Kurt Cobain's Martin D-18E, the famous guitar Kurt played during their taping of Nirvana's 'MTV Unplugged' as a wedding present.

Frances and her mother Courtney Love deny that assertion.

It's more than just a collector's piece - the guitar is nearly priceless. Not only was it owned and used by Kurt, the guitar is a rare model of which only 300 were made.

The instrument was specially customized so Kurt, a lefty, could play it upside-down. It was supposedly the last guitar he ever played before his death. The guitar was once insured for $1 million and may be worth several more million dollars.
