Liam Gallagher surprised fans by dropping a new EP titled 'Acoustic Sessions'.

Gallagher teased the EP on Twitter a week ago by cryptically telling fans, “Keep your eyes peeled and ears open 31st January something very special for you all.”

And he did not disappoint. Not only did he treat fans to an EP, he also released a new video for “Once.” In the video, Gallagher plays a servant/chauffeur to a wine-loving estate owner.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have Eric Cantona, the last Rock n roll footballer, star in my video for ‘Once’. Songs like this don’t come around very often and neither do football players like him,” Gallagher tweeted about the new video on Friday.

The eight-song 'Acoustic Sessions' EP features songs from his latest full length 2019's Why Me? Why Not alongside some classic Oasis songs such as “Cast No Shadow,” “Sad Song,” and “Stand By Me.” One version of “Once” that Gallagher put on the EP is the original demo as well.

As for a tour, Gallagher has about two dozen shows planned overseas so hopefully North American fans can expect some gigs. There also, hopefully, won't be a shortage of more music.

In an interview with GQ, Gallagher admitted he's showing no signs of slowing down as long as the fans want to see him perform. “As long as they want me to keep f****** singing and I can keep f****** do it, I'll be doing it forever,” he said. “If no one comes to see ya, you gotta knock it on the head. I couldn't give a f*** what anyone in the press says. I'm doing it for us.”
