Ross Halfin announces Eddie Van Halen photo book

A new photograph book centering late rock legend Eddie Van Halen will publish this summer.

Helmed by renowned rock photographer Ross Halfin, the extensive photo book, titled Edward Van Halen by Ross Halfin, is described as a 356-page "celebration of rock's iconic guitar player, a man who changed the way rock music would be played forever.”

The keepsake, available in four editions scaling from $124 and $1,528, releases this June and is available for preorder via Rufus Publications. The book, which includes a foreword from Eddie’s friend, Black Sabbath’s Tommy Iommi, contains never-before-seen shots by Halfin from Van Halen’s first trip to the UK through to the Sammy Hagar era.

The pricier editions — measuring 240mm x 345mm and printed on 170gsm art paper — features a 3D lenticular cover, a metal, guitar-shaped slipcase. The now sold-out and most expensive edition was numbered and signed by Halfin himself.
