Aussie powerhouse festival Splendour In the Grass have just dropped their highly anticipated lineup to, let's say…..mixed reviews.

The festival which has been running since 2001 is a staple in the Australian calendar and has boasted some pretty stacked acts over the years. Such acts include Powderfinger, Supergrass, Moby, Queens of the Stone Age, The Cure, Tame Impala and the Strokes.

This years headliners include Kylie Minogue, US Rapper Future, Hayden James and Arcade Fire. Many people heading online to voice their opinions on the “lackluster” lineup

“What a mediocre line up. Maybe i am just too old but it just seems so blaah. Boring snoozefest”

“I hate that I don’t want to see anyone other than Kylie and Future but just those two alone make me want to go”

Couple of acts on this years line up for fans of Rock music with of course Arcade Fire headlining the Sunday, and other acts such as Fontaines D.C., Viagra Boys, Pond, Yard Act and Australian Metalcore band Polaris

The lineup drop comes at a time where festivals in Australia are a bit on edge with a dramatic rise in costs leading to many pulling the plug. At least six Australian festivals have been called off since the beginning of this year, in what some executives are calling a crisis.

What are your thoughts on the line up, worth heading over for?
