The Foo Fighters have announced their first show of 2025, set for Saturday, October 4, at the Singapore Grand Prix marking the band’s first confirmed live performance of the year along side Elton John, Crowded House and The Smashing Pumpkins!
Unless additional dates are added before then, the Singapore show will mark the Foo Fighters' first public concert in nearly 14 months. Their last major performance took place on August 18, 2024, at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park. They reportedly played a private event at Anaheim’s House of Blues on September 6, though it wasn’t open to the public. Around that time, Grohl made headlines with the revelation that he had fathered a child out of wedlock.
The following month, Grohl participated in another Nirvana reunion—this time with Post Malone handling vocals—as part of Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary celebration. In April, he also collaborated with the LA Philharmonic for a special performance featuring two Foo Fighters songs.
It’s been nearly two years since the Foo Fighters released their most recent studio album. But Here We Are, released in 2023, was a deeply personal record in which Grohl confronted the losses of his mother, Virginia Grohl, and his longtime friend and bandmate, Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022.
