The Smashing Pumpkins announce 'The Rats In A Cage Tour’

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a North American fall tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1995 double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

Dubbed the Rats in a Cage Tour, the run will see Billy Corgan and the band perform the iconic album in full. A promotional video for the tour promises “two unique sets”, one dedicated to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and another featuring songs spanning nearly four decades of hits and deep cuts.

The 27-date tour kicks off on September 30 in Columbus and will travel across North America, stopping in major cities including Boston, New York City, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, and Seattle. The tour wraps up on November 12 at Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
