Us kiwis smash them for every occasion, but it appears the Americans have been heavily deprived of these.

The New York Times introduced the existence of the puff pastry crammed with sausage meat to its country in a new published recipe.

Tweeting the recipe with a photo of a pile of sausage rolls, they explained they were “so much better” than “pigs in a blanket”.

Confused Americans everywhere followed by loses their minds.
