Driver Fined For Using Stuffed Mannequin As Fake Passenger

A man using a mannequin as a fake passenger has been fined $150.
He was trying to use the T2 lane when he was pulled over at a checkpoint at the Constellation Drive onramp in Mairangi Bay.
Senior Sergeant Brett Henshaw says the driver looked rather sheepish and told him it was the first time he'd done it.
The mannequin had a bandaged head and was wearing sunglasses.
