Movie Theatre Apologises For Playing R Rated 'Sausage Party' Trailer Before 'Finding Dory' Screening

The vice president of the theatre chain in the US was forced to apologise after the family friendly audience was exposed to the trailer for Seth Rogen's upcoming film, 'Sausage Party'.

"Playing that trailer was a one-time honest mistake by a theatre manager moving screens around in effort to accommodate several large last minute groups wanting to see Dory," Walter Eichinger from the Brenden Theatre Corporation said to Bay Area News & Talk.

Seth Rogen, who co-wrote and stars in Sausage Party, tweeted out a news story about the movie mix-up to his 4.1 million followers and said, "This made my day".
