The All Whites remain 161st in the world football rankings ahead of the upcoming Oceania Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea.

It's New Zealand's lowest position since the FIFA rankings were introduced in 1993.

The All Whites are still the highest ranked team in Oceania, nine places ahead of American Samoa, the Cook Islands and Samoa.

Argentina has retained top spot, in what is an unchanged top 50.

Belgium and Chile remain second and third, with world champions Germany fifth.
