The Blues have been thumped 43-5 by the Lions in their Super Rugby match in Johannesburg.
The home side started red hot, scoring a try in the opening minute through Warren Whiteley and adding two more before 12 minutes ticked over the game clock to lead 19-nil.
They were unable to find another before halftime, but ran in four more tries to scrub out any hope of a miracle fightback from the visitors.
Kara Pryor scored late for the Blues to ensure they wouldn't leave without any points to their name.
