Blues Part With Dan Bowden, Sign Male Sa'u

The Blues have parted ways with one utility back and signed another.

Dan Bowden is leaving by mutual consent to take up overseas opportunities, while the Blues have signed Japan international Male Sa'u.

Sa'u believes his game will develop further at the Super Rugby franchise.

"I like the style of Blues, their attacking style, and being around heaps of young faces can give me that excitement in playing that new style of rugby."

Sa’u played a season with the Melbourne Rebels.
