Three possibilities for the Black Caps as they assess who should replace Doug Bracewell in the New Zealand test XI.

Bracewell has been ruled out of this week's second trans-Tasman test in Christchurch with a strained rotator cuff.

Commentator Bryan Waddle said it may be another chance for Matt Henry, who impressed in the one-day internationals, while Neil Wagner is a reliable option, but would add another left-armer's footmarks.

Waddle says New Zealand might go for an all seam bowling line-up, with Henry and Wagner coming in to replace Bracewell and off-spinner Mark Craig.
