Breakers Secure Import Point Guard

Ben Woodside has been signed to replace Cedric Jackson, following stints in Slovenia, Georgia, France, Turkey and Spain.

Woodside comes on the recommendation of his soon-to-be Breakers teammate Kirk Penney who he has played with in Europe.

Breakers coach Paul Henare expects Woodside to be a strong acquisition.

He said Woodside can come in straight away and be the floor general he requires.

The Breakers now have nine of their 11 roster spots filled for next season.
