The Breakers unbeaten streak at home has come to an emphatic end.

They've been smashed 107-83 by the Illawarra Hawks in their ANBL match at Vector Arena, ending an eight-game winning streak on their home floor.

Former Tall Blacks guard Kirk Penney was the chief destroyer in his second match against his own club, finishing with a game high 27 points.

The Breakers were behind the eight-ball from the first quarter as they made error after error and trailed 34-21.

Corey Webster once again led the way for the Breakers scoring 25 points, while Tai Wesley added 20 off the bench.
