The Breakers have ground out a hard fought win over league leaders Melbourne United at Vector Arena.

Both sides struggled to maintain the lead throughout the match, before the Breakers seized hold of the match, running away 80-69 winners.

The sharp shooing of Corey Webster's led the Breakers to an 80 points to 69 win over Melbourne United at Vector Arena.

Webster's shot 13 of 25, including seven threes, to lead all scorers, while Cedric Jackson grabbed nine rebounds to go with his 10 points.

It was a pay back of sorts for the New Zealand side, having controversially lost to Melbourne just two weeks ago.
