Chiefs Win Thrilling Local Derby Over Hurricanes

The Chiefs have prevailed 28-27 over the Hurricanes in an enthralling Super Rugby match in Wellington.

The Canes had a chance to win the contest in the final seconds, but fullback Jason Woodward knocked the ball on with just the try line in sight.

Nine tries were scored throughout the match as the lead changed hands a number of times.

The kicking woes of Hurricanes first-five Beauden Barrett also cost the hosts, as Barrett made just one of six kicks.
