A futuristic trailer that can swivel and extend to reveal a party deck at the push of a button is set to hit the road soon.

Called the Romotow, it looks amazing enough before performing its party trick.

But once the magic button is pressed, it transforms, with the centre sliding along and then rotating outwards to create up to 70 per cent more floor space and the perfect place to host guests. Some have likened it to a giant USB flash drive.

The Romotow has been designed by New Zealand-based architectural and interior design firm W2, which has been working on it for the past six years.

MailOnline reader Tony Hughes from Hildesheim, Germany, likened it to a 'giant USB flash drive', adding 'great inspiration, designers!'

W2 hopes to launch the mobile home in 2020 and it is expected to sell for US$350,000 (NZ$535,000).

Inside the cabin there will be a double bedroom big enough to sleep two adults and a living room with a sofa that can be converted to sleep another two guests.

The Romotow will also have a kitchen and bathroom, both with 'stylish fixtures'.

A-state-of-the-art sound system will be integrated throughout the mobile home and all windows will come with built-in blinds.

There will also be a fold-down electric barbecue outside while the deck will be lined with synthetic teak flooring - usually found on super-yachts.

A deck enclosure kit will also be available, which comes with awnings and screens to create another bedroom, which can accommodate another four guests.

Solar panels will be fitted to the roof along with a battery and a diesel heating system, so there will always be power, even if the camper is off the grid.

It is unclear how many Romotows will be manufactured as production will be subject to demand.
