The Crusaders have scored a resounding bonus point 57-24 win over the Southern Kings in their Super Rugby match in Christchurch.

The Kings got off to a speedy start and led 10-nil with just minutes on the clock, but the red and blacks soon hit their straps and eventually led 29-10 at halftime.

Nemani Nadolo scored a first half double to go with tries from Ben Funnell and Johnny McNicholl.

They extended that lead to 43-10 after the break through tries to Richie Mo'unga and Mitchell Drummond to put the result beyond doubt.

The Kings scored two more tries of their own, but also conceded two more - one each to Jone Macilai and Pete Samu, as the Crusaders ran away with the victory.

The result moves the red and blacks up to 10 points from three matches, alongside the Chiefs and Hurricanes on the ladder.
