All Blacks centre Malakai Fekitoa has been banned for one week.
Fekitoa's pleaded guilty to the dangerous tackle charge that earned him a yellow card in Dublin, but his representation argued it didn't warrant a red card.
The three person disciplinary committee disagreed, though they acknowledge that Fekitoa acted recklessly rather than intentionally.
The committee deemed the offence low end which has a two week entry point suspension, but Fekitoa's acknowledgement of his action and previous clean record saw that reduce to one week, ruling him out of the French test this weekend.
The result of Sam Cane's hearing is expected later this morning.
