Lydia Ko has won the New Zealand Open for a third time.

The world number one has completed a two-shot victory at Clearwater, carding a solid two-under par final round of 70.

She made the decisive move with consecutive birdies at the 10th and 11th holes and then played smart golf for the remainder of the back nine to hold the trophy aloft once again.

At just 18 years of age, it's Ko's 15th professional win and second in a row in Christchurch.
