Moody Warned Over High Tackle

All Blacks prop Joe Moody has been issued with a warning for a high tackle against Argentina during the Rugby Championship Test against in Hamilton.

Moody escaped further punishment for the tackle on Argentina lock Guido Petti late in the first half of Saturday's Test, which New Zealand won 57-22. He was penalised for the incident by referee Craig Joubert.

A Sanzaar citing commissioner deemed the tackle dangerous but didn't take additional action.

The outcome mirrored that for Springboks prop Tendai Mtawarira, who was let off with a warning following an incident during their 23-17 loss to Australia in Brisbane.

The veteran loosehead was also penalised for the incident, in which he rolled No.8 David Pocock out of a ruck by the neck.

The All Blacks face South Africa in the fourth round of the Rugby Championship in Christchurch on Saturday.
