The defending champion Breakers have been thrashed 96-75 by the Illawarra Hawks in their ANBL basketball match in Wollongong.
Kirk Penney tormented his former side with a game high 36 points for the Hawks with Cedric Jackson top scoring with 22 for the Breakers.
The Breakers have a one win two loss record to start the season and face the Wildcats on Friday night in Perth.
