One Pakistani paceman is warning the Black Caps that the easy ride they had against Sri Lanka is over.

New Zealand lost just one match against Sri Lanka and dominated their bowling on several occasions, particularly in the limited overs series.

But Pakistan seamer Wahab Riaz said they will provide a stiffer challenge.

"We have much more good bowlers than Sri Lanka. Obviously they lack experience but we have experienced bowlers, plus we have quality bowlers as well, so it's not going to be easy for them to score runs against us."

"Cricket is very easy these days for the New Zealand batsmen, they've been hitting the ball really well, but it's going to be a different bowling challenge."

Pakistan has trained at Eden Park to get an insight into what they'll face tomorrow in the first Twenty20.

Riaz said the boundaries certainly are short.

"It feels like we are playing at home or something like that because it is a very small boundary, but when you are playing you don't think about the boundaries, you think about how you have to bowl here."

The Black Caps train at the ground this afternoon to wrap up their preparations for the match.
