Sevens Tipped To Stay In Wellington

Wellington appears likely to keep its round of the world sevens series.

New Zealand Rugby is expected to announce a decision on the future of the tournament after a board meeting tomorrow, but it's understood a decision has been made and it is staying in the capital.

The contract in Wellington expired this year after three years of declining crowds and speculation the tournament could head elsewhere.

It's not yet known how long the new contract will be for.
