Six players are in line to make their first grade bows for the Warriors against the Tigers in the first round of the NRL this weekend.

New recruits Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Blake Ayshford, Issac Luke and James Gavet are all in the side, alongside teenage hooker Nathaniel Roache.

Jeff Robson is the other new face, named at halfback with Shaun Johnson shuffling five-eighth.

Assistant coach Justin Morgan said it'll be different to see Johnson not wearing seven, but the roles are largely the same anyway.

Morgan said Johnson will have a bit more free reign while Robson can give them the steadying influence.
