It's a daunting task for the Tall Blacks in their quest to qualify for the Rio Olympics.

FIBA has confirmed the draws for the three six nations qualifying tournaments in July, with 21st ranked New Zealand heading to the tournament in Manila.

New Zealand has been drawn alongside world number five France and 28th-ranked Philippines in Group B.

8th ranked Turkey, Senegal and Canada are in Group A of the Manila tournament, with only the overall winner advancing to the Rio Olympics.

The Tall Ferns will meet France and Cuba in group play in its qualifying in Nantes in June.
