'The Hard Work Starts Now' - Mitchell Pearce Arrives Back In Sydney

Roosters five eighth Mitchell Pearce has arrived back in Sydney vowing to face the music over his drunken Australia Day incident.

Pearce has spent the past month in Thailand seeking treatment following the release of the embarrassing video.

Both his club and the competition are yet to settle on sanctions.

Pearce says he's coming back with a clear head.

"It's been a really challenging four weeks, and something that I've really needed to do.

"The hard work starts for me now. A lot of people to earn respect back off."

The NRL season starts on Thursday.
