World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has been stripped of his IBF title, less than two weeks after winning it.

The Brit had to agree to fight the IBF's mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov, but has instead opted for a re-match against Wladimir Klitschko.

IBF Championships chairman Lindsey Tucker has told the BBC that it's true Tyson has been stripped of the IBF belt because he signed on for the rematch.

Fury still retains the WBA and WBO versions of the heavyweight crown won in the victory over Klitschko on November 28.
