An apology from the Warriors' so-called 'Shameful Six' as they reintegrate back into the first grade side.

The six players who broke team protocols on a night out mixing prescription pills and energy drinks have issued a public statement apologising for the embarrassment they've caused everyone who works for and supports the club.

They say they didn't meet club standards and have disappointed families, team-mates, staff, sponsors and fans and most of all, themselves.

It goes on to say they have a lot of work to do to regain respect from those around them but they are fully committed to showing how much they care for the Warriors club.

The apology comes as Manu Vatuvei returns from medical leave to rejoin his teammates in training today.
