Wellington Phoenix Snap Up Barbarouses

The Wellington Phoenix have announced a major signing for next year's A-League season.

They've snapped up the services of All Whites striker Kosta Barbarouses for the 2016-17 season.

It'll be a homecoming for Barbarouses who started his career with the New Zealand club back in 2007.

Coach Ernie Merrick said he's delighted to have Barbarouses join the Phoenix from Melbourne Victory as he's the striker they've been after for a while.

Kosta Barbarouses has scored six goals so far this season.
