An astonishing finish to the men's Twenty20 World Cup final in Kolkata.

Carlos Brathwaite hit four sixes off the first four balls of the final over to lead the West Indies to a four wicket win over England.

Chasing 156, the Windies needed 19 off the final over and Brathwaite delivered after Marlon Samuels had kept them in the game with an unbeaten 85.

Captain Darren Sammy said Carlos has stepped up in every game for them.

He said to see someone play like that in his debut World Cup is just tremendous and shows the depth they have in the Caribbean in T20 cricket.

Marlon Samuels was named man of the match for his unbeaten 85.

Meanwhile the West Indies have won the women's final too, beating Australia by eight wickets.

It follows the under 19 team winning its World Cup earlier this year.
