Today marks a significant day in radio.

Radio Hauraki Breakfast announcers Matt Heath & Jeremy Wells have launched the very first product in their self-titled homewares range, a pillowcase set.

The ambitious decision to diversify their brand from purely radio came after the duo experienced an epiphany, in which they observed the need to respond to the ever changing media marketplace.

The set of two beautifully designed pillow cases features stylistically rendered profiles of the radio duo, each taking up a single case to allow the customer to alternation who they sleep with.

The introduction of Homewares takes the brand into some unchartered yet exciting waters in the hope of connecting with their audience beyond the microphone

“We’ve identified a gap, and we’re filling it.” stated Heath passionately.

Wells added “We are a nation of homeowners, people aching to be homeowners and homos, so branching into those environments mean we can fulfil the desires of an entire population.”

“Homewares has proven a successful direction for many other exceptional entertainers including Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Lionel Richie, however until today had remained an untapped market for radio hosts, in particular breakfast radio host.” Says Heath.

Matt & Jerry Homewares is collaboration with award winning distribution channel Mr Vintage and a team of adventurous and pioneering designers.     The pillowcases are the first of many products in the range and customers can look forward to the release of scented candles, valances, lamps and diffusers coming soon.
