There have been accusations of bad sportsmanship by Black Caps fans against paceman Mohammad Amir during Monday's opening one-dayer against Pakistan.

The tour of New Zealand marks Amir's return to international cricket after serving a five year ban for spot-fixing.

However, Pakistan media is reporting Amir faced taunts from a spectator who was waving dollar bills at him.

It's understood teammate Muhammad Hafeez noticed the taunts and came to his rescue, while also informing the umpires and team security.

The spectator was reportedly given a firm warning from officials.

PCB chairman Shahryar Khan says it's disturbing for Amir and the team, but mentally they're prepared for these things.
