New Zealand's U20 World Cup Path Revealed

New Zealand will face Ukraine in the opening match of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup on May 30th.

Ukraine's been drawn as the second team in Group A, meaning they'll face the hosts at North Harbour Stadium to kick off the tournament.

Also in Group A to face New Zealand in pool play are USA and Myanmar, with matches to be played in Auckland and Whangarei.

Wellington will host Group B teams Argentina, Panama, the third-highest qualified African team and Austria.

Hamilton-based Group C has been drawn Qatar, Colombia, Portugal, and the fourth-ranked African qualifier.

Group D will be based in Dunedin with Mexico, the second-ranked African qualifier, Uruguay and Serbia.

The African qualifying champions headline Group E based in New Plymouth, alongside Brazil, North Korea and Hungary.

Christchurch hosts Group F teams Germany, Fiji, Uzbekistan and Honduras.
